It’s scary and exciting at the same time working with the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA).
We have learnt so much about deadly asbestos since we started working with UKATA in July 2018. We never cease to be shocked at just how dangerous this substance is and how easy it is to be exposed to it.
We deliver a press release draft and distribution service to UKATA, writing press releases on subjects and news identified by the Chesterfield-based Association’s marketing manager.
Although the Association is local to Chesterfield, the work and influence of the Association is nationwide.
UKATA sets the standards in asbestos training and ensures its members comply to industry standards. UKATA member companies train in excess of 200,000 delegates each year in areas from asbestos awareness to licensable work with asbestos.
We’ve learned so much already working with them – it’s astonishing just how many people asbestos affects. In fact, almost 100 people per week die from asbestos-related diseases.
We’re proud to be a part of UKATA’s ongoing commitment to reducing this number. It’s really rewarding work to know that more people are becoming aware of and taking precautions against this deadly substance thanks to news we’re helping to share.
