Meet Joshua and Natalie – our newest team members

Following the move into a bigger, better office, we’ve taken the opportunity to expand the team… We’ve welcomed Joshua Peet (16) and Natalie Randall (23) onboard. Both Josh and Natalie are Level 3 Social Media and Digital Marketing apprentices.

Originally, we planned to recruit just one apprentice, but Natalie and Josh both blew us away, so we were delighted to offer them both a position.

Josh is from Matlock and has just completed his GCSEs at Highfields School. He has a passion for creative writing and is looking forward to working with the team: “I am very grateful for the opportunity to develop my writing skills and begin my career with such an established company. I’m excited and passionate about marketing – I look forward to contributing to the company.”

Natalie, who hails from Chesterfield, is a former English and business student with a strong background in hospitality. She hopes to use the people skills gained in the sector to achieve great relationships with our clients – both new and existing.

She said: “I’m really excited to be a part of In The Works PR – seeing how much of what they do is around Chesterfield and further afield is massively exciting, and I can’t wait to contribute to it. The opportunity for an apprenticeship in such an academic subject is perfect, it’s exactly what I want to do.”

Joshua and Natalie will be working alongside Joe Morton, who is now nearing the end of his Level 3 Digital Marketing apprenticeship and looking to move onto Level 4 with the business.

Combining traditional learning at college with on the job experience, apprenticeships bring the best of both worlds. All three students will walk away with qualifications, work experience in the sector and wages, whilst we benefit from fresh perspectives, a team that is growing in creativity and skill and the ability to train the team in a personalised way, incorporating our values as a business into their curriculum.

Welcoming both Josh and Natalie to In The Works PR, director Anna Melton said: “I believe strongly in apprenticeships. If done properly they are a brilliant opportunity for both the young person and the business to grow and develop. Josh and Natalie are both bright and enthusiastic. I have every confidence they will enjoy long careers in the industry and, I hope, with In the Works PR.”
