You will have an excellent standard of written English and a strong interest in writing. We don’t want you to be Shakespeare but we do need you to be able write creatively and come up with an angle that will get everyone interested in reading what you write.
As well as being good at writing, you’ll also be skilled at multi-tasking, love meeting new people, being part of a team and want to learn. If this sounds like you and you want a career that incorporates PR, social media management, journalism, the creative industries, event management and copywriting, then an apprenticeship at In the Works PR could be for you.
If you’re the right person then we will pay you generously above the minimum apprentice wage while developing you into an industry professional with a long-term career at In the Works PR.
If you want to make the most of this opportunity then, as minimum, we require you to have:
– 5 A-C GCSEs including Maths and English
– Good written and verbal communication skills
– A spark of creativity
– Excellent time keeping
– Attention to detail
– The ability to find a solution rather than a problem
– Social media skills
– IT skills (Word and Excel)
You also have to be happy to muck in, roll your sleeves up and take an active role in the business. In return you’ll get real hands-on experience, additional training beyond your apprenticeship training and a great grounding for your future career with us.
