Events specialist Dani Munn (27) has joined the team at Chesterfield PR firm In the Works PR, based on Saltergate.
Dani (28) from Woodseats, joins from the Sheffield’s iconic live music venue and nightclub The Leadmill where she was Assistant General Manager. She is also an Associate Lecturer in events at Sheffield Hallam University.
She joins the team at In the Works PR as a Senior Account Executive working across the company’s national client base, which includes youth hostelling charity YHA (England and Wales) and PK education as well as Chesterfield-based Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, Destination Chesterfield and Northern Tea Merchants.
Dani describes herself as ‘professionally nosey’, commenting: “There’s a great variety of clients at In the Works PR with very different requirements, which ensures no two days are the same. One minute I can have my ‘corporate head’ on dealing with a press announcement about a new service or managing a photo shoot for a client, the next I can be organising a celebrity charity event in Brighton.
“It’s great to be part of the growing team at In the Works PR. My background in events management brings an additional specialism to the company, complementing its media relations and online communications services it already offers clients.”
In the Works PR was established in 2011 and has grown to become Chesterfield’s leading public relations firms. It established its online communications arm, eBusiness Works in 2013, which won the company the prestigious Business Idea of the Year award at the 2014 Derbyshire Times Business Awards. In 2015, the company narrowly missed out on the Small Business of the Year award in the Sheffield City Region Business Awards.
